Exam Analysis – 90% returned for more
The past couple of years has seen a huge demand for our exam analysis. Departments seem to find it an invaluable service and we really enjoy being able to quantify for them their pupils’ strength and weaker areas; offering them practical solutions to improve their results.
Last year nearly 90% of schools who used our exam analysis service for their first round of mocks used the service again for their second round or booked follow-on sessions.

“We have used Advance’s service for four years running now, for both English Literature and English Language mock exams series at Ark Burlington Danes Academy. Having a marking service such as the one Advance provides has been invaluable: not only do they ‘deep mark’ the scripts beyond what any teacher would be realistically capable of doing, but a hugely comprehensive tracking spreadsheet is also generated whereby we can track the individual skills deficits of the students we teach. Advance also write a report that provides a very specific, bespoke commentary on the trends they have observed for each question. It goes without saying that the package Advance offers us has served to strengthen our feedback lessons beyond measure.”

“The Advance team have been a fantastic resource for the school. The materials they provide are effective, accessible and challenging. So many students have achieved GCSE success having benefitted from the work Advance has done with us including advice, teaching and provision of materials”.

We always love to hear how we’ve helped.
Over a decade of valued relationships
When Advance was born 10 years ago we had no idea that English departments would be so keen to embrace our brand of tailored intervention. A decade on we have built relationships with schools across London and our name even seems to have started spreading elsewhere. One of the things we love about the work is watching and helping schools, departments and people grow to show their full potential.
Last year two thirds of the schools we worked with were those with whom we have had a partnership for at least 5 years.
